TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

SAFETY FOR NON-RAILWAY PERSONNEL IN RAILROADS AND THEIR EQUIPMENT PROTECTION ZONES

Objective of the training programme – to prepare qualified staff able to work safely in hazardous areas of the railway, to provide participants with more knowledge of the railway structure, vehicle dimensions, size, road structures, switches, crossings, movement organization, workplace fencing, alarm systems and other traffic safety aspects necessary for work and save conduct.

Tasks of the training programme – to familiarize employees, supervisors and other related personnel with work procedures in the railway zones, basic normative legal acts regulating activities on railroads and their equipment protection zones, main safety and health requirements when performing the track, railroad construction, equipment inspection, maintenance, as well as and other work in the railway industry. To develop the ability to organize safe and orderly work procedures in the railway protection zones, to implement preventive measures in the company and its divisions, in order to prevent accidents at work and occupational diseases, and fatal cases and emergencies.
